The group exists because she texted first.

She booked the tee time three weeks ago. She sent the first text, the second text, the reminder text, and the are we still on text. She picked the course, checked the weather, confirmed the reservation at the restaurant after, and put it all in a shared calendar that only she checks.

She doesn't organize because she's controlling. She organizes because nobody else will. The round doesn't happen without her. The dinner doesn't happen without her. The entire golf season doesn't happen without her.

Her bag is always ready. Her cart has a phone charger. She carries extra tees for the people who always forget and extra patience for the people who always cancel. She planned the whole day so that nobody else had to think about anything — and somehow she still plays. She'd like you to confirm by Thursday.

Has the tee sheet screenshot in her camera roll. Knows the turn time. Ordered the food ahead so it's ready when they finish. Checks on everyone's water situation twice.

After

Gets the table. Orders apps while everyone's still parking. Has the photos uploaded and captioned before dessert. Already floating next week's date.
